Privacy in Nail Design Studio

What the app keeps on your phone

Everything you make in Nail Design Studio is saved in the app's private storage on your device, and only there:

• your nail designs: shape, length, the skin tone of the preview hand, colours, and the French, gradient, pattern and decoration settings of each nail;
• the names, notes and tags you type for your designs;
• favourite marks, the designs you selected for comparison and the automatic editor draft;
• saved colour palettes and recently used colours;
• your preferences, such as the default shape and length and the options for exported images.

When you ask for it, the app also creates image files and backup files. They are written to the app's cache folder and stay there until Android clears the cache or the app is uninstalled.

The "skin tone" is only a display colour for the drawn preview hand. You pick it from six swatches; it is not linked to you as a person.

What the app never asks for

Nail Design Studio does not ask for or handle your name, e-mail address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, calendar, health data, payment data, device identifiers or advertising ID. There is no sign-up and no profile.

What leaves your phone

Nothing leaves it automatically. The released app does not have the Android internet permission, so it has no way to send data to us or to anyone else.

Data leaves the app only when you start one of these actions yourself:

• Share image. A picture of a design or a comparison is handed to the app you choose in the Android share sheet. The picture shows the design, its name and, if you switched that on, your notes.
• Create backup file. A file with all your designs, palettes and preferences is handed to the app you choose.
• Write to us and Privacy policy. These buttons open your own e-mail app or browser. The app itself sends nothing.

What the receiving app does with a file you shared is governed by that app's own privacy policy.

Third parties

There are none. The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, social network, payment or cloud components. Its fonts and icons are bundled with the app and are not downloaded.

Permissions

The app requests no permissions that Android asks you to approve, and no internet permission. Restoring a backup uses the system file picker, which gives the app access only to the one file you select.

Keeping and deleting data

• Your data is kept on your phone until you delete it.
• You can delete a single design or palette at any time.
• To delete everything at once, open More, then Backup and restore, then Erase all data.
• Uninstalling the app removes all of its data. Android cloud backup is switched off for the app, so your designs are not copied to a Google account.

Because nothing is stored on a server, we hold no copy of your data and there is nothing for us to delete or export on our side.

Children

Nail Design Studio is a general-audience design tool and is not directed at children. It has no features for contacting other people, and nothing you create is visible to others unless you share it yourself.

This website and e-mail

This website (nailpalettehub.click) sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts and images are served from the site itself, so opening a page does not contact any other company. Like any web server, the server that hosts the site may keep technical request logs (IP address, time, the page requested and the browser type) for security and operation.

If you write to us by e-mail, we receive your address and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to answer you and keep it only as long as that takes.

Changes

If a future version of the app changes any of the facts above, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date at the top of the page will change.
